Web Traffic Connection Update
Tonight Web Traffic Connection had the first meeting with our "core" promotion team. Rick Smith of BBNH attended and gave our team an overview of this awesome system. This program lends itself to be one of the most powerful marketing systems on the internet today. We are only a short 12 days into this program and already we are consistently placing large amounts of people in the system.
Just how powerful a system is Web Traffic Connection? I think Rick said it best. "I did not come here to pull the wool over anybody's eyes. I put this program together to serve the needs of people trying to market on the internet. You know, the fact is, that everyone who has an interest on the internet, needs traffic. That is why Web Traffic Connection will be here today and tomorrow. As long as there is an internet we will be there to serve the needs of our people."
This man who heads BBNH has been effectively utilizing the internet for over 18 years. He is an absolute guru when it comes to programming. His expertise is literally unsurpassed and his vision if far reaching.
We will look down the road on this project a bit and we will see that as long as people are trying to market something on the internet, there will be a need for our services. There is no better place to be than the net for leveraging your time and effort to make money. You can work a lifetime by yourself and only your efforts will stand; however, when you leverage your efforts exponentially by use of the team effort, then your efforts are magnified 100% by each team member that you bring onboard.
Reliability, integrity, dependability and exceptional customer service make Web Traffic Connection and awesome project to be involved with!
And again I ask---what are you waiting for?

Quantum Leaps 10 Things to Make All Your Next Steps Giant Steps!by Rod Nichols

Network marketing is a business that is fun to build fast and often frustrating to build slow. It is important that you have quantum leaps in your business. According to the book You2, by Dr. Price Pritchett, here is what you need to do to create quantum leaps:
1. Change your personal rules for success - success is not achieved step-by-step. It is a achieved in leaps and bounds. You must change your attitude, get out of your comfort zone, do things that you might not normally do.
2. Quit trying harder - working hard does not create quantum leaps, only more work. You must work smarter. Shift gears. Change your patterns. Use different techniques.
3. Ignore conventional approaches - figure out what everyone else is doing (that really isn't working) and do something different. Find techniques that are working in other industries and try them with your network marketing business. Analyze what you are doing and it's effectiveness on a daily basis. Keep doing what works and get rid of what doesn't.
4. Believe - "Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve." If you can think it, you can do it. Keep an attitude of belief that you will be successful and do no let the naysayers sway you from your path.
5. Focus on the target, not the path - keep your eyes on the target and move into action. You will get there. The path is not so important, because you will probably change many times along the way.
6. Trust in the power of pursuit - it has been proven time and time again that if you continue to talk with people, sponsor, and help new distributors duplicate, you will be successful.
7. Seek failure - Babe Ruth is known as one of the greatest homerun hitters of all times, yet he was also the strikeout king. He could never have hit so many homeruns, if he wasn't willing to strikeout. If you move into quantum leap action, you are going to fail. Look at those failures as stepping stones to success.
8. Get out of your comfort zone - huge success in network marketing requires you to do things that aren't comfortable. Get out there and talk with people, set up speaking engagements, walk around the mall and talk with people, call prospects on the phone, do 3-way calls, etc.
9. Fall in love - you must love your products, company, and upline. Fall in love with your business and every day will be a pleasure. As with all love relationships, there will be ups and downs, but love will prevail.
10. Just do it - don't worry that you don't know everything about the products, company and compensation plan. It doesn't matter if you can't answer every objection. Get out there and talk with people. You'll learn as you earn.

The Six Human Needs

Hi Boys & Girls,
What needs and beliefs really motivate you, what drives you? What are you looking to accomplish in helping others? Here’s what Michael has to say about six human needs.

The Six Human Needs
Understand your personal motivations and
what you can do to fulfill the needs of others.
by Michael E. Angier

Tony Robbins, author of Awaken the Giant Within and Unlimited Power, has identified six basic human needs and believes everyone is-or can be-motivated by their desire to fulfill these needs.
You may want to consider these needs when thinking about developing and delivering products and services to people. The question to ask is, "What need or needs does my product fulfill for my customer?"
1. Certainty/Comfort. We all want comfort. And much of this comfort comes from certainty. Of course there is no ABSOLUTE certainty, but we want certainty the car will start, the water will flow from the tap when we turn it on and the currency we use will hold its value.
2. Variety. At the same time we want certainty, we also crave variety. Paradoxically, there needs to be enough UNcertainty to provide spice and adventure in our lives.
3. Significance. Deep down, we all want to be important. We want our life to have meaning and significance. I can imagine no worse a death than to think my life didn't matter.
4. Connection/Love. It would be hard to argue against the need for love. We want to feel part of a community. We want to be cared for and cared about.
5. Growth. There could be some people who say they don't want to grow, but I think they're simply fearful of doing so-or perhaps NOT doing so. To become better, to improve our skills, to stretch and excel may be more evident in some than others, but it's there.
6. Contribution. The desire to contribute something of value-to help others, to make the world a better place than we found it is in all of us.
Action Point
Evaluate this list to better understand your personal motivations and examine which ones seem the most significant to you. Then, look at what you do to fulfill the needs of others. It will likely make a difference in what and how you do what you do. It also should make a difference in the way you describe and explain what you and your product can do.

The Future of Network Marketing

The Future of Network Marketing
Starts with very little upfront investment... low downside risk... operates
efficiently from the home... offering unlimited residual income potential...
Network Marketing will be the business opportunity of choice throughout the world.
by Rod Nichols
Today network marketing is an often misunderstood and maligned 50+ year-old industry. It is also a very high growth industry and one that is starting to attract professionals in large numbers. That's today, but what will the future look like? Well, I don't have a crystal ball, but based on current trends, technological predictions, and maybe a little of my own fantasy, here is my vision of the future of network marketing.
You drive into your driveway in your new Nexxus, which you purchased through the Virtual Shopping Network, a network marketing company. Your perimeter security system, the latest technology from Quantum Security turns on the outer and inner lights. Once inside your house, you first check tel-e-mail messages (a combination of e-mail, telephone messages, voice mail, and regular mail), on your MicroSoph internet messaging center (owned by the AnWeigh Corporation - the largest network marketing company in the world). There you find several messages from friends, family members, and of course all of your business messages. As a network marketer in the 21st century, you rely totally on the internet to build your business.
A fantasy view of network marketing? Maybe, but probably not too far off. Based on the growth of computer technology and increases in the use of the internet, once a rarety the computer is as common place as VCR's and everyone who has a computer is "surfin' the net." Because of the natural networking capability of the internet, the match with network marketing is perfect. What better way to build networks then on a natural worldwide network. In the 21st Century the power will no longer go to the rich, the famous, or those with the information, but rather to those who have the largest networks.
I believe that with the power of network marketing combined with the power of the internet we will purchase nearly everything from network marketing or pseudo network marketing companies. All things will be available in virtual malls for you to view and purchase.
Instead of going down to the local grocery store, you will tap into the internet and shop in a virtual store - select a basket, roll it down the aisles (which will look exactly like those in a real world store), select products (you can even look at the labels) and place them in your basket, at the check out counter the virtual cashier will accept your PIN and automatically deduct the amount from your account at the Virtual Bank of America. Your groceries will be delivered the same day from a local warehouse.
The grocery store will be operated by a network marketing company and you, as a member shopper, will be assigned to another member. That member will receive a bonus on everything you purchase.
Whether you are purchasing groceries, clothing, automobiles, or airline tickets, each purchase you make through the internet shopping system, will result in a network marketer getting credit and receiving a bonus. Everything is simple and automatic, with delivery within a day or two and a 100% money back guarantee.
As it is now, network marketers in the future will work from their home office. However, due to advances in video conferencing, virtual reality, and the power/speed of computer systems, they will rarely leave their homes to do business. Instead of weekly meetings in their home or a local hotel, networkers will conduct massive meetings via video conferencing on the internet. Prospective distributors will tap in from all over the world. It's efficient and effective, plus it eliminates traffic and pollution.
Instead of having a job and working network marketing in your spare time, networking will be your full-time occupation. You will build a network in a network marketing holding company that represents hundreds of network marketing companies, which gives you access to many high quality products at wholesale pricing and keeps your network diversified. This protects you from downturns and fluctuations in the different markets. All purchases funnel back into the holding company's massive computer system, which scans for group volumes each day and pays you a daily bonus. This bonus is automatically placed in your electronic bank account.
Just think of the freedom you will have. Your downline distributors all buying different products from themself and attracting new distributors through electronic marketing on the internet. Each distributor will have his/her own electronic marketing piece with real time video, audio, and text. A true multi-media show, which can be sent directly to prospective distributors through the internet or loaded on a web page or autoresponder for easy access.
Network marketing will become the most efficient way to distribute products or services and will dominate the world of distribution. Since the business can be started with very little upfront investment, has a very low downside risk, can be operated efficiently from the home, and has unlimited residual income potential, network marketing will become the business opportunity of choice throughout the world. There will be two classes of people, those who have large networks and those who don't!
In the movie The Graduate, a young Dustin Hoffman was told that the future was in plastics. I'm here to tell you that the future is in network marketing on the internet.

Achieving Your Dreams
To really achieve your dreams, to really have your
future plans pull you forward, your dreams must be vivid.
by Jim Rohn

While most people spend most of their lives struggling to earn a living, a much smaller number seem to have everything going their way. Instead of just earning a living, the smaller group is busily working at building and enjoying a fortune. Everything just seems to work out for them. And here sits the much larger group, wondering how life can be so unfair, so complicated and unjust. What's the major difference between the little group with so much and the larger group with so little?
Despite all of the factors that affect our lives - like the kind of parents we have, the schools we attended, the part of the country we grew up in - none has as much potential power for affecting our futures as our ability to dream.
Dreams are a projection of the kind of life you want to lead. Dreams can drive you. Dreams can make you skip over obstacles. When you allow your dreams to pull you, they unleash a creative force that can overpower any obstacle in your path. To unleash this power, though, your dreams must be well defined. A fuzzy future has little pulling power. Well-defined dreams are not fuzzy. Wishes are fuzzy. To really achieve your dreams, to really have your future plans pull you forward, your dreams must be vivid.
If you've ever hiked a fourteen thousand-foot peak in the Rocky Mountains, one thought has surely come to mind "How did the settlers of this country do it?" How did they get from the East Coast to the West Coast?

Change Begins With Choice
You have the ability to totally transform every area in your life -
and it all begins with your very own power of choice.
by Jim Rohn

Any day we wish; we can discipline ourselves to change it all. Any day we wish; we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish; we can start a new activity. Any day we wish; we can start the process of life change. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month, or next year.
We can also do nothing. We can pretend rather than perform. And if the idea of having to change ourselves makes us uncomfortable, we can remain as we are. We can choose rest over labor, entertainment over education, delusion over truth, and doubt over confidence. The choices are ours to make. But while we curse the effect, we continue to nourish the cause. As Shakespeare uniquely observed, "The fault is not in the stars, but in ourselves." We created our circumstances by our past choices. We have both the ability and the responsibility to make better choices beginning today. Those who are in search of the good life do not need more answers or more time to think things over to reach better conclusions. They need the truth. They need the whole truth. And they need nothing but the truth.
We cannot allow our errors in judgment, repeated every day, to lead us down the wrong path. We must keep coming back to those basics that make the biggest difference in how our life works out. And then we must make the very choices that will bring life, happiness and joy into our daily lives.
And if I may be so bold to offer my last piece of advice for someone seeking and needing to make changes in their life - If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree. You have the ability to totally transform every area in your life - and it all begins with your very own power of choice.

WebTrafficConnection Hits the Internet!
Web Traffic Connection is the hottest program going now for the average person to be able to run an effective internet based business with little or no knowledge of search engine optimization.
Internet marketing for the average person is a mystery. Web Traffic Connection takes the mystery out of effective internet marketing for everyone involved with the program. The unique makeup of the system involves fully optimized webpages to effectively promote any service or product on the internet.
There is; however, an added bonus to the program that deserves attention. The low cost of the program ($197.00 one-time fee) makes Web Traffic Connection an even more appealing digital product than some of the other programs on the internet now. Most programs of this sort have an additional charge of upwards of $40.00 per month.
Another great plus to the program as well is that it is a very lucrative affiliate program. Web Traffic Connection wanted to make this program available to everyone to give them the ability to succeed on the internet. We have been faced with too much hype and its time that we give back legitimacy to the internet."
Rick Stout, of BBNH Hosting will be handling all the hosting for this project. Rick gives top-rated customer support to his hosting business and will do the same for our new program. Rick is a no-nonsense man when it comes to making money on the internet.
Another huge plus that this program has is the added feature of obtaining, for free, the system called Veretekk. With Veretekk, a person who knows absolutely nothing about search engine optimization, linking, ad content and keywords, can come to the live webconference trainings, basically run 24/7.
Butch Hamilton, who is one of the Veretekk trainers, says of the WebTrafficConnection program, "this is one of the best fully optimized, search engine friendly program that I have seen come along. I know, that with the Web Traffic Connection system that people will have a very good chance of success on the internet. I have personally known, and coached people who have spent thousands and thousands of dollars which promise success, but do no good whatsoever. I have done business with Rick Stout for over a year now, and I have never known a more credible and knowledgable man to do business with."
An effective marketing tool combined with the power of Veretekk makes Web Traffic Connection a sure winner!

How to Effectively Tell Your Story

Hi Boys & Girls,

How to Effectively Tell Your Story
Take a few minutes and complete this simple
and yet extremely vital aspect of your business
then teach it to your team. You'll keep more
distributors excited about the possibilities, and
sponsor more guests too....
Michael Clouse

When you stop to think about it, every weekly business briefing— and every large event— needs to include powerful, effective testimonials (or what I call stories), somewhere during the presentation, for the benefit of both distributors and new guests alike.
So how can you ensure that you're ready to contribute with your powerful and effective stories? Consider putting into practice the following four-point plan:
1. Every distributor needs to create his or her own story (testimonial) regarding the product or service, and the money.
2. Write it down. Your story should include: your name, where you live, your background or occupation, followed by your product, or money story.
3. Practice, drill, and rehearse the words you've written until you can cover every point in 30 – 45 seconds.
4. When it comes to your money story, I would suggest converting your money story into your lifestyle story... After all, why would someone who is already earning $10,000 per month want to join your business? Because of the lifestyle!
Not fighting the traffic is lifestyle.
Being home with your kids is lifestyle.
Doing work that brings you satisfaction is lifestyle.
Waking up after you're finished sleeping is lifestyle.
Instead of earning $500 in your home-based business, ask yourself "What am I doing with the $500?" And if your answer is that you are buying back some of your life— for example, the ability to retire at 55 instead of retiring at 65—that's lifestyle!
What sounds more impressive? "I earn $700 per month in my home-based business..." or "With the extra money our business provides, we were able to take another two-week dream vacation in the middle of February to Aruba!"
Take the time to prepare both your product and lifestyle stories. Write them down and practice both until you know them— like you know your own name. Then make sure you inform your local leadership team that you've got two powerful and effective stories, and you're ready to let the world know....
Creating Your Story
Keep your story to 30 – 45 seconds!
Your goal is to relate, relate, relate, to as many people as possible.
Include: your name, your location, your background, how you were introduced to the business, or why you decided to become a distributor, and what your business has done (or is doing) for you... Remember relate, relate, relate!
Example: "My name is Michael Clouse... My wife and I have two grown children and live in Seattle. Prior to becoming a distributor with the XYZ Company, I had gone from an Account Executive position with AT&T, to Editor-in-Chief of a business magazine, to a small business owner... And then this home-based business just kind of fell in my lap. Well, I took a look, liked what I saw, got involved, and using the system they taught me, went to work on a very part-time basis… Today, just a few short years later, I earn over $100,000 a year, my wife and I just spent three-weeks in Italy, and I'm still only working part-time! Selling & Being Humble: Do they Mix?

Hi Boys & Girls,
When you’re speaking with another person, or prospect, what is your goal, deep down what are you really after? Do you think they can sense that?
Here is how Ari helps out Kent.

Selling and being humble: Do they mix...?
You may not even realize you're coming
across with a traditional "me-first" sales
approach where there’s a hidden agenda
behind every "Hello" or "How are you today?"
It's because your goal is to get the other
person to do something. There's a better way.
Ari Galper

Kent asked me a rather surprising question when he called the other day. "Ari," he said, "what exactly do you mean when you talk about being ‘humble' when selling? I mean, I feel I'm usually pretty down to earth when I talk with prospects, and I really don't think I come across as overly aggressive. So I'm a little confused about this."
Well, I wasn't surprised by Kent's dilemma. Most people who sell— and most people in general— probably don't consider themselves overbearing or aggressive.
The problem is, traditional sales approaches train people to create a "me-first" impression that actually shuts down communication with prospects.
Let's look at the typical sales introduction, which usually goes something like this (delivered in an upbeat, enthusiastic manner): "Hello, my name is Kent, and I'm from XYZ Company, and we provide invoice management solutions." Then you go on to say more about yourself, your product, and how it would benefit the other person.
Even if your prospect doesn't cut you off immediately, they may listen until you stop for breath, and then they'll say something like, "Sounds interesting, send me a brochure," or "Sorry, we're not interested," or "I'll think about it and get back to you."
You know you've gotten the brush-off, but you aren't sure why. After all, you believe in your product or service, and you know it would provide real value for your prospect. Why aren't they willing to hear you out?
Well, here's why:
Without even being aware of it, you've come across as only wanting to talk about yourself.
After all, when you make a new acquaintance in your everyday life, do you introduce yourself and then immediately launch into a monologue about yourself and your interests?
But that's how you'll come across if you operate out of a traditional "me-first" sales approach.
These approaches actually train people out of the customary, polite behaviors we've been taught in everyday life. Instead, there's a hidden agenda behind every "Hello" or "How are you today?" because our goal is to get the other person to do something.
You may feel uncomfortable about acting that way, but it's what you've been trained to do, so you do it. No wonder you get knots in your stomach when you think about making calls. What's worse, your prospects will be able to tell that you have an agenda.
When we meet new people in our day-to-day lives, we listen to them with genuine interest and curiosity about them and their lives. Why not do the same thing when we connect with prospects over the phone or in person?
"In other words," I told Kent, "being humble opens up a space where we can listen closely and carefully to the other person without making any assumptions, or trying to force any outcome. When we don't assume that our product or service is a fit for them, we can explore with the other person whether or not we can help them solve a problem."
Kent was still hesitant. "I don't know. I feel as if you're telling me I should be passive, maybe even ‘wimpy.' It's a big difference from the take-charge approaches we've all learned."
"It is different," I told him, "but isn't it true that whenever people start talking about the negative ‘salesperson' stereotype, ‘aggressiveness' is the first thing they mention?
Being humble just means thinking about what's right for them, and not assuming anything. It lets you talk with them, not at them."
"That makes a lot more sense," Kent replied. "You're definitely right about how traditional techniques can backfire. I know from my own experience that I really warm up when someone shows me they're really interested in me and my world, but that if I'm talking with someone and I start feeling they want something from me, I can feel myself back away."
When Kent asked for some specifics about how he could apply the idea of being humble, I offered these suggestions that you might also find useful.
1. Listen rather than talking.
When you listen instead of talking, you'll learn what matters to your prospect and whether there's a match between the problems they want to solve and the solutions you can offer.
Practice being humble by letting go of the feeling that you have to rush in with a sales pitch every time there's silence in your conversation. Let the other person talk, and when you do respond, be sure your comments or questions show you've really been listening. You may also want to make a note or two as the other person is talking so you can talk about those points.
This is the opposite of the usual approach of trying to force the other person to hear you out. Listening is a good way to stay focused on the other person instead of yourself.
2. Listen and speak as you would with someone you already know.
When you speak in a warm, natural, low-key voice, it's the opposite of the excited, enthusiastic tone that immediately communicates "salesperson" to prospects. Think about how you talk with people in your personal life. That's how we want to talk with prospects.
You can begin the conversation with something as simple as, "I wonder if you could help me out for a moment?… I'm just calling to see if you'd be open to a different perspective related to issues caused by your unpaid invoices?" This puts the focus on the other person rather than on yourself. It opens the door for interaction and dialogue in which prospects will be more likely to speak candidly about the problems that you may be able to help them solve.
3. Let the other person know that you're okay with whatever the outcome is.
When you let go of your agenda, you create a safe space that allows your prospect's trust and truth to emerge. When you're humble and don't assume that you have all the answers, you eliminate the artificial push-pull of seller and buyer and connect at the level of human beings. Being humble here means that you're okay with their decision, whatever it is, and you're not going to try to force an outcome that fits with your personal agenda.
4. Let the other person take the lead
At the end of the conversation, when you feel it's appropriate, you can say, "Where would you like to go from here?" When you do this, you're telling the other person that you're not going to pressure them for the sale, which means they may feel more comfortable exploring things further with you. You may even find that they will often take the initiative in suggesting that the two of you schedule an appointment.
5. Learn how being humble can eliminate rejection
Traditional sales approaches— insisting that you always have to be enthusiastic, in control, and focused on making the sale— often cause the rejection that too many people who sell experience day after day.
When you're humble and don't assume anything, on the other hand, you're much more likely to have calls that let you feel you've connected rather than collided.

Focus Your Solution on Causes… not Symptoms
5 Reasons to Ask the Right Questions at the Right Time
by Michael Oliver

Jumping in too soon with solutions is one of the prime reasons for the excessive negative responses most Distributors receive.

If you are a "let's get on with it", hard nosed, solution type of person, perhaps the concept of discovering the causes of problems and giving a person space and time to talk about themselves might not be your style.

However, consider this… until your potential clients consciously and subconsciously FEEL that you understand the depth of their problems, and until they FEEL their own discomfort of their present circumstances, most are not going to listen to or take action on any solution you have to offer.

Here's a truth. Problems have both symptoms and causes.

I hear most Distributors attempting to hurriedly solve symptoms and not the cause of a people's problems, hence the high rejection and attrition rate. For example, the lack of money, time, freedom and good health are usually not the problem! They are merely the symptoms of a much deeper problem that is causing the lack of money, time, freedom and good health!

If you are prepared to use Dialogue to ask and listen, people will tell you the deeper causes and the consequences of what will happen if they don't resolve whatever isn't working in their lives.

You don't have to spend hours engaged in Dialogue. 5 to 10 minutes can reap huge rewards.

"Asking the right types of questions at the right time" makes this easy.

Here are 5 reasons why adopting this practice is worth it:
1. Asking questions and developing answers naturally prevents you from jumping in too soon with a solution. You engage your potential client in an in-depth dialogue with 3 objectives in mind –
o To Discover if they have the types of problems that you can help them solve with your solutions...
o To allow them to talk about how bad their problem is...
o How will they feel if they don't fix it...
2. You can help more people if they feel you understand their situation. And helping people is really what it's all about, isn't it? People don't buy your products, your company or even you. They buy your ability to understand them first.
3. The greater their problem is, the less important the cost of solving it. Stop to think about this for a moment –the greater the problem, the greater the desire to find the money to pay for your solution.
4. The greater the problem is, the greater their desire to change their present circumstances, and DO something about it. No more having to stay on top of your downline or customers, persuading them to attend meetings or to speak with potential clients or buy products. AND… no more high attrition.
5. It's effortless and tension free because they do the work and they are the ones who create their own internal tension based on feeling the need to make a change!
So get comfortable with asking questions and hearing about problems, and don't be satisfied until you've helped them discover what the consequences are if they don't resolve them.

Once you've uncovered the causes behind the symptoms of their problems, and allowed them to talk about what happens if they don't fix them, and what it would be like if they did… then it's time to transition your conversation to briefly present your solution.

Moving Toward Your Solution

You transition with something like this…

"So what you're looking for is…" (feedback to them briefly what you heard them say they wanted and why they wanted it).

When they say, "Yes"… you can follow with…

"If there was a way you could achieve those things, do you look for opportunities to do that?"

How often do you think you will hear 'Yes!'? I guarantee you'll hear it most of the time! Why? Because you just fed back to them everything they said they wanted and why they wanted it.

What follows next is your VERY brief presentation describing how you can help them, carefully focusing on the results they will get. Do not spend more than one minute going into detail about your solution. Resist the temptation to do this. The details can come later when you have assessed their degree of commitment to make a change.

It's All About Them…

Focusing on causes keeps the Dialogue all about them, and makes it easy for you to understand in a short time your potential client's present situation in greater depth than you can ever have imagined.

It also makes it easy for you to customize your solution in a way that makes sense to them and demonstrates you've been listening.

Remember, it's all about them, not you. Dig deeply and you will find acres of diamonds in your Dialogues!

Have a peaceful and prosperous week...

Michael

The 10 Qualities of a Good MLM Lead

Hi Boys & Girls,
I use to pay at least two to three hundred dollars a month for leads and they were nothing spectacular. Now I have a system that generates premium leads for me without paying a single dime for them and they’re a much better quality. What a difference that makes in running a business. Anyway, here’s what Lawrence has to say about the quality of leads.

The 10 Qualities of a Good MLM Lead...
What are the most important qualities to look for...?
by Lawrence Stepanowicz

Leads are the lifeblood of Network Marketing. Whether it's a warm market list, leads you've generated through your own advertising, or leads purchased from a third party source, it takes leads to make your network work. Here are what I consider to be the 10 most important qualities of an MLM lead. They're in no particular order, and not all criteria can be controlled by you or your lead source. Sometimes a desired quality can mean a tradeoff in other areas; a point worth remembering as you search out your leads.

So what should a good MLM lead be?

1. FRESH. Fresh leads are the best leads and real-time leads are premium leads. It makes sense that the most advantageous time to connect with someone is as soon after they express their interest as possible. Using real-time leads gives you the fastest way of being able to do this.

2. NON-INCENTIVIZED. What does that mean? A good MLM lead is a person who is interested in a home business and has not supplied his contact information in exchange for the chance of winning a contest or getting a certificate good for a 'free' vacation or some other reward. You want leads to be people who want information, not freebie seekers or contest junkies.

3. OPEN. A lot of people are interested in a home business. But if you're in Network Marketing, that isn't enough. A good MLM lead must be open to the concept of Multilevel Marketing, not someone looking to provide a service out of their home.

4. GENUINE. A good MLM lead should be someone who is honestly interested in Network Marketing. In an industry that holds the promise of wealth and freedom, the curious, the frivolous, and the time-wasters abound. Many are called, but few are honest about wanting to do something in MLM!

5. NOT OVERSOLD. If you use exclusive, real-time leads, this isn't a problem. But with larger lists consisting of older names, good leads are people who have not been turned-off by having been contacted too many times. This is one thing a lead source can easily control.

6. REACHABLE. Deliverable by mail or email isn't enough. Good MLM leads can be reached by phone. A few will give false information. Others can never be reached. Many never really wanted to hear from you at all. A good MLM lead is a lead that wants to hear from you, a lead that wants to know more.

7. TEACHABLE. Not everyone who joins an MLM company knows what to do. In fact, virtually all require some kind of training. A good MLM lead is teachable and willing to learn.

8. CAPABLE. Good MLM leads are willing and able to invest in the business. A good MLM lead is not part of the something for nothing or get-rich-quick crowd. They are realistic. They have dreams, but they are not idle dreamers.

9. TIME WISE. It seems no one has much time to do anything extra, these days. A good MLM lead is willing to set aside time to work his business on a regular basis, knowing he will eventually earn back his time and then some. He knows that wise use of his time today will pay dividends tomorrow.

10. DECISIVE. Good MLM leads are ready to act. Some may want to look a little deeper into a given opportunity, but a good lead won't keep putting off a decision he will never make. He's willing to walk the walk, not just listen to you talk!
